Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?

Guess who's coming to Dinner?
First I had lunch with my Niece and her precious baby boy! I can't believe how fast he is changing. I saw him a month ago and he wasn't even sitting up. Now he is crawling and pulling himself up.
Is he not the cutest baby?!
Then last night I was in the backyard grilling and heard a little commotion. I looked up to find my sweet deer, you know... the ones that reek havoc in my garden! Well this little imp saw them at the same time and had a great time chasing them out of our HER yard!

Not to worry, as soon as I got the bucket of corn, they were back, too hungry to let a little Jack Russell chase them away. There are four babies and the smallest one came so close to me, I could have touched her!

Sorry the pic is a little blurry, I was trying to snap it fast before Hippy chased them off again. Naughty girl, I know she is saying "Who Moi?".

Have wonderful bubbly day filled with JOY! Nan

  1. My days are filled with delight every time I see a
deer. My biggest thrill in life was to find a brand new borne deer in my garden a couple months ago ... I wrote of it.

    Cute pooch!

    Have a beautiful day ~

  2. Beautiful deer! Why is it so magical when you can get close to one...? It just is, isn't it! Love your little pup, too--looks like quite a little scamp!

Hope you're having a wonderful day!

  3. Good Morning NanE Sweetie...
Oh my gosh, I love this little face first off sitting in the highchair. What a sweetie. Yes they do grow so darn fast. I cannot believe that my first grandchild started high school this year and the 2nd and 3rd both started junior high. Where has the time gone?

Oh my gosh, look at the beauty you were allowed to behold, and you feed them corn. Oh NanE that is just breathtaking. I have never been that close to a deer before. You are so lucky sweetie.

I love Hippy. Isn't she just the sweetest little thing?

    Have a gorgeous day sweetie.

Country hugs and much love, Sherry

  5. We're not allowed to feed the deer in CO. $250 fine the FIRST time they catch you! And if they catch your dog chasing them they can shoot the dog! Isn't that awful?
Thanks for the info on Fenton, it sure looks like them but I didn't fid any quite the same as mine that is amber & ruby.I will keep looking though, so I guess $3.50 was ok!
