Springy Pinkness!

Happy PINK Saturday everyone!
I know that some of you are still under the influence of cold, dank weather but here in Charleston, Spring is busting out all over! We've had several sunny days in the 80's already. My oldest "Tiny Bubble" is home for Spring break so today we took a stroll downtown and did some shopping, had a yummy lunch then went for a walk along the harbor. It was a perfect day!
I thought I would share some of the Springy PINKness happening around our house. First, this was my Easter decoration splurge for the year.
I saw it at Pier One and I just had to have it, I couldn't resist. Every time I looked at it, it made me smile and then it got to the point where I couldn't take my eyes off of it!
It is fairly tall, right at 2 feet and I haven't decided yet where I am going to display it. It's a toss up between the Sunroom and my kitchen garden window.

I love all the little characters and how they are all balancing on each other.

Next up, the large pots on our front porch.
I usually choose soft pinks and lavenders but this year I decided to change it up and go with hot PINK, Orange and Yellow. I'm loving this color combo!

Each pot contains a Topiary Hot PINK Hibiscus,

a hot PINK Geranium, and an Orange Geranium,

Yellow Marigolds, Swiss Chard, and Yellow Nemesia.

Please stop by How Sweet the Sound and say hi to Beverly, our host each week for PINK Saturday!
Have a great weekend, xxoo Nan

  13. Totally daring my friend! We were hoping to climb to the high 70's but a cold front came in and it's really low today. So much for my springtime planting! :(

Happy Pink Saturday my friend. You inspire me!

  14. Oh Nan, I can almost feel the warmth and smell the flowers! Lucky you, to be having such beautiful weather. There were snowflakes flying around this morning here!
I can see why you had to have those cuties from Pier 1! I haven't been in that store in years, and had no idea they had such cute things. I guess I better go check them out!
    Happy PS!

  17. I thoroughly enjoyed your post today. I am not big on decorating much anymore, when it is just me. I do like your little Easter chicks. If the rest of your yard is any indication of your porch, it is truly lovely. I love the way you have the pots staggered.
