  2. This is so sweet NanE. Isn't the old art work the most innocent and precious images? I hope you don't mind that I copied it just to have. It you do I promise I'll delete it.

Hugs and Sweet Sunday wishes to you...Tracy :)

  9. Hey Nan,
Got your message and am glad the ATC arrived safely. Thanks for letting me know!
As for the Dutch planter, yes, I use a bottle brush tree that you see at Christmas. I prefer to use Dept. 56, which are alittle more expensive, but hold up much better to the bleaching and dying process.
All you have to do is bleach the tree (add some water to the bleach. Sometimes it takes minutes, sometimes it takes hours!) When it's done, rinse it, pat it dry, and let it dry for a day or two. Then to dye it, just dunk it in a bowl or RIT (can find at AC Moore) until it turns to the shade you want. For this particular tree, I only bleached it and liked the finished cream color.
Any questions, just ask! MAKE SURE TO WEAR GLOVES!! My hand was chemically burned from the bleach!!!
