Good Friday

Most pictures depicting Good Friday and the Crucifixion, portray Jesus on the Cross. This picture however; is fascinating because it portrays what Jesus might have seen from The Cross, thus the title "As Seen From the Cross" by James Tissot. I think it is the perfect picture to use with this particular Scripture. May each of you have a blessed Good Friday as we await the resurrection and the promise of Easter. Nan

  1. Which ever view we have it is sad but Easter Sunday it will be a day of glad tidings.

  3. Your Easter decorations are wonderful...love the wreath you made! The tree, mantle, etc., are just great. I didn't get a single thing put up, so I'll just enjoy yours for a while.

Did you realize that your post is down real low on the page? I thought I'd mention it because at first I waited thinking something hadn't loaded and then I scrolled down and saw the post. Some people might not realize they have to do that and will miss your post. On my screen it's down below all the things on your sidebar, but it might just be a temporary glitch of some kind.

That picture is amazing. I've never seen one with Christ's view before. Have a wonderful Easter.

    1. Wow, thanks for telling me that! It looks ok on my screen now, wonder if it was just a temporary glitch? I hope so but thanks for letting me know! Have a great weekend, Nan

  4. Hi Nan, I'm visiting from Pink Saturday. Love your Easter shares and the sample items you shared with us at Beverly's! Your Good Friday share is very different and hurts much less than seeing those nails in His hands, wrists and feet. Thinking of Him seeing His loved ones and knowing they will be with Him again is a much better perspective.

    Have a wonderful Easter weekend,
