REDnesday!

As promised, I started scanning the pages in my "new" vintage childrens books and since it is REDnesday, I thought I would share two that have quite a bit of red in them. I had a teensy tiny problem though, the entire page would not fit on my scanner bed so I had to make two scans for each page. I'm also thinking I might need to reduce the resolution the next time I scan this book because the paper has a little bit of a texture and it distorts the pictures just a little. Anyway, here are two of the pages, I hope you enjoy them! xxoo Nan

  4. Hi NanE Sweetie...
Oh my gosh, I love this children's book and these pages are so devine. I love the little faces, and oh my gosh look at the bonnet. Is that not priceless? The little sailor outfit is so darn cute, and even look at the whistle in the other little boy's mouth.

And the little boy with the puppy, releasing the fish into the pond, and look at those little cheeks, oh my are they ever precious.

Oh thank you for sharing with me. I so love it when you do.

    Have a gorgeous Wednesday sweetie.

Many hugs and much love, Sherry

  9. These illustrations are so adorable Nan! I love old children's books, and have been buying the Little Golden Books that I remember from my childhood. I also found my old Dick and Jane book from school in my attic just last week. I forgot I even had it, so I was pretty excited!
    Happy REDnesday!
