I remember going to a church service in Sydney once for this feast and parishioners were asked to bring their pets to be blessed. It was a beautiful Mass and one that I will never forget.
Hi Nan! Thank you for sharing this image and prayer...tomorrow is, as you know, the Feast of St. Francis and a "high holy day" for those of us who follow in the way of the little man of Assisi! He is still one of my most inspirational people...any ideas about how I could spend the day?
Wonderful words of encouragement for all - and especially good for the Sandwich Generation caring for elderly parents and grandkids! Thank you for a lovely Spiritual Sunday!
This is such a beautiful prayer. I love the way your pictures can be clicked and saved. You are very generous and I'm glad you share with us. Blessings, Charlotte
This is beautiful! I love the picture, like Charlotte said that was very generous of you. For me it is very time consuming to make something like this. God Bless, Ginger
Hi Nan, My very favorite Saint. What a lovely way to celebrate Sunday. I was so happy to see your comment on Pretty Little Things blog. Wow, embarrassing but fun to see my own blog there! Amazing Race, hmmm... I am beginning to really like the Shopping Girls, the Volleyball Girls, and of course the Father/Son team. I was a little uncomfortable with the Birth Mother/Daughter team as it seemed they weren't really there for the race but to see each other for the first time. Why would they choose such a public venue. They mentioned several times this may be an only opportunity to see each other. I have a special spot in my heart for Ghana as my childhood pen pal was from there. I enjoy so much seeing your smiling face when I am out and about visiting. Have a great week! E
