TA DA! I have my words!

Happy PINK Saturday everyone! This is my first PINK Saturday in several weeks, the Holidays just got so busy. Anywho, I've been trying to think of MY word for this year, a word that would say exactly what I want to strive for. Well, I couldn't come up with one word so I came up with two! One word that applies to everyday life: home, work, family etc.. You see, I am the World's worst procrastinator. I can come up with more excuses for NOT DOING the things I need to DO! Have you guessed what my word is?

Yep, DO, simple, uncomplicated, JUST DO!

The second word is for my art. Many times I see another artist's work and think "Gee, I can do that!". But I have to tell you, there are just as many times that I look at an artist work and think "gosh, I wish I could paint like that!". I realize, I HAVE to BELIEVE in myself, BELIEVE that I can DO anything if I set my mind to it and work at it. Is it obvious enough?

My second word is BELIEVE!
So there you have it, my two words for this year! I'm going to print these out and hang up one set at work, one set in my studio and one set in my sun room. I almost forgot to mention, the adorable tags (minus the words) are from the fabulous blog Free Pretty Things For You. She has the sweetest vintage tags and images! Now go check out all the other PINK inspiration at How Sweet the Sound and have a wonderful weekend filled with Bubbles of JOY!

  2. Hi NanE, You are right these are great words for anyone at all. We must believe in ourselves and we must move forward with our 'doing' things. One of my favorite words is 'transitions' as in life we move through many transitions a big one for women is when the kids are out of the home. Take care NanE and I love the new blog look here. Every time I try and make a change I lose site meter off or something else I want gets knocked off.

  8. Hey Bubbles! What wonderful words to choose Nan. I love them both and I really do need to use them both just like you!

I've really had some people on my mind lately and you were one of them at the top of the list. I don't seem to get around to blogging much lately (there you go, I need that do word, right there). And when I do get on the computer I'm so busy reading emails (some I'm thrilled with and others are a lot of filler). Lord forbid I miss something. And then I'm looking at so many other wonderful creations everyone's doing I don't get to visit the ones I love and of course I save a copy a growing number of to do's that never get done.

So just because you don't hear from me I want you to know you're still in my thoughts and prayers. I hope all is bright and wonderful in your life this weekend.
    Hugs...Tracy :)

  9. Happy Pink Saturday Nan, Your blog looks great as usual and I agree I need to use the Do word also instead of playing on the computer! But look at all the fun I might miss out on! What's a girl to do, we need more hours in a day! Hugs and thanks for being my Fb friend, I'm learning slowly but surely .Sunday blessings Marilou

  12. Hi, Nan! The Lord hasn't really given me any words for this year. He knows I like to be surprised!
These images are so cute! I love all the graphics that Keren shares! She designed a busines logo for me using my own images! ♥
