I have a special prayer request today!
I'm joining Charlotte and Ginger at Spiritual Sundays. Please visit their blog for more inspiring posts! My Youngest dd Emily along with her University choir, are leaving tomorrow morning for a ten day concert tour of China. If you could keep all of these amazing singers and the staff in your prayers for safe travels and wonderful performances I would so appreciate it. DD's University is affiliated with the Methodist Church and normally their Christmas tour is filled with beautiful Sacred music with a few secular tunes thrown in for good measure. However; they will not be permitted to sing the sacred songs on most of the tour.
I'm posting a video, it's not the best video but it was the only one I could find but it is still lovely. I'm joining Charlotte and Ginger at Spiritual Sundays. "Of Course they will be in my prayers"... What a wonderful opportunity for all those talented kids! "Deep Breaths" to you, I would feel the same way!
ReplyDeleteHugs to you,
Donna
They are in my prayers sweet girl, what a wonderful opportunity! Hugs and prayers, Marilou
ReplyDeleteI'm praying for them too and what a great opportunity. I've been to China...the people are wonderful and will be so receptive to them.
ReplyDeleteI will keep them in my prayers that their presence in China might be the tool the Lord uses to present Himself to them. Have a blessed Sunday and try not to worry. I know I would.
ReplyDeleteNan, I will pray for your daughter and her fabulous concert group. Beautiful music. I pray that the people in China see Christ in all the group does.
ReplyDeleteTo quote (loosely) Francis of Asisi: Speak of God always, but only when necessary use words.
I pray this is exactly what they do on this trip.
Thank you for blessing me with this video of angelic voices!
Yvonne
I will be praying for them, as this is a wonderful opportunity for them.
ReplyDeleteThe video was such a blessing to listen too.
As a mother I know it is hard not to worry, so I will be praying for you too.
Blessings,
Sue
What beautiful voices. I will pray for them and we will add her to the prayer request blog as well.

ReplyDeleteBlessings to you from our Sweet LORD as you look to Him in this, His beautiful season, and those to come. Isn't it Magnificent knowing He is the Reason for every Season......Hugs Dena
PS:: I sooooooooo thank you for touching my heart with your note..
What a wonderful opportunity. I'd be happy to pray for them and the lives they will touch with their message and music...even if they can't sing about God, I will pray His light will shine through them.
ReplyDeleteThey will be in my prayers for safe journey and blessings where ever they go. They sing so beautifully! The sacred songs should not be silenced- but that's that way some countries are- glad I live here!
ReplyDeleteHugs- Tete
Beautiful choir, I'll be thinking of them in China. Thanks for the post on your noodles. I love the noodle bowl. My Mom made something similar, and I'm going to try your recipe. What a wonderful tradition!
ReplyDeleteTheir music is beautiful. I pray they will have a very positive influence on the people of China. I believe God will use them to glorify His name. I know you are proud of your daughter. I will pray for them too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this information so we can join you in prayer.
Blessings,
Charlotte
