It's a marshmallow world and more random thoughts!

Hi my Dear Bloggy readers!
Well, I didn't get picked for the jury the first few days, maybe all week. I feel so rejected, LOL! Actually it would have been a very interesting case, a former NFL, Superbowl player has been accused of raping a young woman. I had no idea when I was sitting in the court yesterday that HE was an NFL player till I got home last night and flipped on the news. I have to call in again tonight to see if I need to report tomorrow.
Do you like Marshmallows? I do, actually I love marshmallows. Well over the weekend I was in Wally World and what to my wondering eyes should appear? GIANT marshmallows!  Have you seen these puppies? How fun are these!

That is a regular size marshmallow sitting beside it! Now, I can just imagine these on the end of a stick, dipped in chocolate and rolled in sprinkles or stacked snowman style, drenched in white chocolate and decorated like little snowmen for the holidays! What a quick easy gift they would make!

Oh and the little one beside it, is not to be ignored either! That my dear friends is a yummy little mouthful of caramel vanilla! Imagine several of these on the ends of little stir sticks, tied up in a little cellophane bag with some hot chocolate!
Now I have a few questions for you and please don't be afraid to be brutally honest! I value your opinions and truly want to know what you think!
1) I have added a music playlist to my sidebar. Right now it is music for Thanksgiving and later I will change it for Christmas. Do you like the music or do you find it totally annoying?
2) I've been tossing around an idea for a tag/block swap, a Tea Pot swap to be exact. So my question is, are ya'll swap burned out? Are you too busy to tackle another swap before the Holidays? This swap could be done anytime, I just had that little book "A Cup Of Christmas Tea" stuck in my head. Have you read it? If not, you must run to your nearest bookstore and grab a copy.
Well, that's it for my random thoughts today. If you get a chance, please let me know what you think about the above! Have a Bubbly Day, Nan

  1. I love marshmallows! On a stick covered with chocolate or poking into a fire roasting! hey...even straight out of the bag!
In answer to your questions, I normally turn down the volume on music even if I love the music I just don't seem to be able to think with music on! Terrible isn't it? That's me though! My brothers were always so opposite to me and couldn't understand! But I will leave it on if I am wrapping a present or cleaning or arranging or cooking!
I've never participated in a swap - still too new to blogland and I don't exactly know what it is. So...I'm not much help there!Sorry!
    Have a really great day...
You have me dreaming of marshmallows now!!

  2. MMMM!! I've never seen those caramel marshmallows before!

As for music, I'm with Ann, I always have to turn it down. I can't concentrate on reading while someone's singing. If it's just musical instruments though, I have no problem.

  4. I was thrilled when I was picked recently for a petit jury of 6. After we were picked we were ordered not watch any news or look up the defendant on line or talk about the case at all. This really was hard as I wanted to say something to my husband but could not until it was over then we could say what we wanted. We found him not guilty due to the weak case the state presented we just could not convict him on what evidence they had which was nothing really. Anyway if you had been picked it was have been a grueling experience for you as it's quite stressful to sit all day and listen to testimony and take notes, then go home and not say a word. When it comes to deliberation you all will have different opinions and you have to come to an agreement or not. We talked for hours and this was just a little case of harassment in the 4th degree. 5. Nan I use to collect the little marshmellow figurines at Christmas. Then a friend lost all her decorations in a flood..I donated them to her.I get more pleasure seeing them at her house.

Love the music..I can always turn it off..I enjoy listening to others selections. You learn alot about people thru their music.

The swap..well I can't say..I have one going on now..with Christmas ornamnents. If they aren't receptive right now..maybe January when nothing is going on..and it's cold..and some warm tea would we lovely. We could even exchange tea packets..When ever..count me in.

  6. Ha Ha Cindy, great minds think alike! I thought about a pocket on the back where you could slip in one or two of your favorite tea bags!

  8. I guess I'll start with the bottom and work my way up. Not being crafty I wouldn't be interested in any swap. I love to buy handmade but I find I have to get and store too much stuff to do it myself. I, personally, don't care for the music on any blogs. My husbands chair is 2 feet away from me and when one comes on he tells me to turn it down so I just leave my volume off but you should do what you enjoy with your blog. Take care.

  10. Hi Nan!
Thanks for the heads up on the marshmallows...OH HOW I LOVE THEM! (My family uses them for marshmallow wars (only 1 bag is designated as "ammo" the rest are gobbled up in a hurry!)when we get together for the holidays! As for the music, I LOVE your selections. Soothing. Grateful. So, for right NOW, I LOVE the idea of music on your blog!

Another swap? Girlfriend, I am beyond over extended on the swaps til after Christmas. A post Christmas swap would be swell...and the book a Cup of Christmas Tea? I LOVE it! I actually own the entire tea set! LOVE!

Have a great week, lady! Hugs!

  11. Giant marshmallows? I've never seen those! I'll be on the look out for those-- yummy! Personally I found that music on my own blog bothered a lot of people--- they didn't stay as long-- I was checking on my status thingie before and after I had installed the music. So-- I took my music off :-P

  12. I am so glad that you posted about the marshmallows. It's been a couple years since I have been to a store and I have no idea what is new now. My guys haven't brought these home, but I had no idea they have flavored ones- which would be great for hot chocolate.
I like the music most of the time- I stay longer to listen to the rest of the song. But my friend doesn't like it.
The only thing that I don't like is when people add so much that it takes forever to download the page. If it takes too long- I'm gone and I don't go back.
I have not done a swap. How does that work?
    Hugs- Tete
